Fisrt article: Any planet can sign the articles and join the republic under full military protection from the republic. Second article: All sentients must at one point serve two to ten years in the service. At what age those sentients serve is at the descretion of the planet Third article: The member planets must give the basic rights to all forms of seintients as deemed by those forms. Forth article: The planet cannot hold a dictatorship, oligarchy, monarchy, or any form of tyrannical government.
