William Parry Jackson (c.1805 - 12 November 1881) was a businessman and local politician in the Woolwich area. Jackson was chairman of the Woolwich Steam Packet Company until 1874 when it became part of the larger London Steamboat Company of which he became deputy chairman. He was also chairman of the Equitable Gas Company.He was also largely responsible for developing the seaside resort of Clacton-on-Sea, Essex. He was a member of the Thames Conservancy Board and for 18 years was chairman of the Woolwich Local Board.
