Young Cat is a young kitten who resembles The Cat in the Hat. He wears a red tie and a red and white hat just like The Cat in the Hat. The Cat in the Hat shows Young Cat how to have fun of learning how to read by taking him on an adventure. It is unknown if he could be The Cat in the Hat's son due to resemblance. Young Cat does not appear to be one of the alphabetical cats from The Cat in the Hat's Magical hat.
