Gissa of Rachne (GISS-ah RAK-nee) was a powerful mage who studied at the University of Carthak with Numair Salmalín and Tristan Staghorn. She was employed by Ozorne Tasikhe, the Emperor Mage of Carthak. Although her nationality is unknown, it is assumed that she is Carthaki.
