Whips are recurring type of weapon in the Dragon Quest game series. They are unusual in that they target a group of enemies (with diminishing returns) (starting with V). A notable whip is the Gringham whip, which can target all enemies. Unfortunately, whips can only score a critical hit on the first enemy struck.
