The Plain of Chennacatt was one of the five major areas of the land of Sirayn.It was situated on a plateau which was formed early in the First Age when a large volcano (south and west of the Bru Isra) erupted and slowly filled the area.After the Area had been devastated in the Second Age, Early in the Third Age, nomads had moved back onto the plain of Chennacatt and reestablished some of the cities.
