A Bioquake was a naturally occurring disaster in the Matoran Universe that could have catastrophic results. One of the greatest bioquakes ever recorded occurred during the Great Cataclysm. It shook all of Metru Nui, causing all not only the destruction of the Chute System and the Archives, but also the release of creatures such as Rahkshi, Protodites, and Gukko. Little is known of any other bioquakes, but they are known to occur spontaneously.
