The Left Door Knocker is encountered by Sarah in Labyrinth. A rather ill-tempered individual, the sentient, gargoyle-faced doorknocker is rendered deaf by the placement of his door ring in his ears. Along with his partner, Right Door Knocker, he guards the doors between the hedgemaze and the forest. Merchandise based off the Door Knockers includes a Talking Door Knocker, and a Plush Door Knocker. Since 2015, the Left Door Knocker puppet is on display at the Center for Puppetry Arts as part of their permanent Worlds of Puppetry exhibit.
