The Sparks are an ancient group of trainers who traveled together prior to AZ launching The Ultimate Weapon. After this the members saved many lives and hunted down fellow Spark, AZ, to make him pay for his actions. Due to being there when the weapon was fired, the members all are immortal and can use aura. The new group was formed on the first day of Clarissa's journey when the trio met. They decided that since Katrina and Mason were stuck traveling with her, the blamed "The Spark" (referring to Clarissa's last name). Eventually the band of misfits became close and decided not to split up.
