Ship Designing is where the player design or upgrades an army ship for battles. The player must collect an Ocean Rune Piece in order to make an upgrade for the ship and the player must also collect the Ship Canvas. Ship designing is done in the Shipwright Room. It only appear in Suikoden IV.
