Erica uses the same kind of Shit Talk that Jim Lahey and the rest of the local law enforcement does, and the episode title "A Shit Leopard Can't Change Its Spots" is directly from her dialogue. The uniform that Erica wears in the show doesn't fit her correctly. Reportedly, the costume department could not find a uniform in their repertoire that would suit her, so she had to wear one that was several sizes too large, giving her the appearance that she is drowning in her clothes. The part of Erica Miller was played by Shauna MacDonald.
