Ambassador Atom (アトム大使 Taishi Atomu) or "Captain ATOM" as it is known in other regions is a 1951 manga series written and illustrated by Osamu Tezuka. It was published by Kobunsha and serialized in Shonen Magazine from March 1951 until April 1952. The series is mostly notable for introducing Astro Boy who would later become Tezuka's most famous character.
