He joined the industry in 1981, first working for Eclipse Comics as a penciler. He continued working exclusively with pencils until 1989 when he inked a Catwoman miniseries for DC Comics. He worked for both DC and Marvel Comics for a period of time on titles including Hellstorm, X-Men, and Alpha Flight before settling at DC as an inker. His Star Trek contributions were limited to work in "Who's Who in Star Trek 1" doing art for Christine Chapel (with Ken Penders), Elasians (with Kevin Maguire), and Deltans, and in "Who's Who in Star Trek 2" doing art for Miramanee and Natira.
