An unnamed Woman and her husband looked round Mill Cottage when Jimmy King was selling the house in August 2015. Jimmy told them that he would met them in the pub. In the pub Rakesh Kotecha approached her and her husband, pretending to be Jimmy's lawyer, as he wanted to buy the house himself. Rakesh pretended to phone Jimmy and told the couple that he was looking for an additional £30,000 on top of the £325,000 they were offering. They were unable afford the extra money so they left the pub. The following day she and her husband phoned Jimmy to up their offer.
