The three Tempest Drakes are special Sand Drake bosses that appear only during the quest The Mesmer's Path. They are powerful Elementalists, combining Earth Magic and Air Magic. Tempest Drakes move very fast, much faster than the normal player movement speed, so it is hard to outrun them (even with movement speed increasing skills).
