The Golliwogs were once a very proud and intellectual society, credited with many great discoveries including Chinese Food and the Phonograph. They built their cities out of reinforced Aluminium Cronkite, mined from the mountains, and twigs. This made their buildings quite resistant to intruding native creatures, such as the hideously dangerous and dangerously hideous Uglo-Americans. The largest city in the Golliwog Empire was named Itali (not to be confused with Italy). It was the home of many Golliwog monuments.
