Hey Buzz Crew, I know you don’t always cover Australian tech news but in this case something pretty major is happening down here. The government has decided to force Telstra (our largest telco and pay TV/broadband provider) to split and thus break up its monopoly on several markets. This is a pretty major story for us (in fact it was the first item on the news tonight) as it along with the $40 billion national broadband plan will be the biggest shake up to our telecommunications sector for years.
