Rayado River Camp is a camp located in the southeast of Philmont along the Rayado River. This camp is often used as a starting camp for crews starting from the Zatrow Turnaround. From the turnaround to the camp is a short hike approximately 2 miles or less in distance. Also nearby is Abreau Camp (a short 15 minute hike) which is a staffed camp that offers a recreation of a Mexican homestead and a cantina that offers ice cold root beer and other limited food, beverage and supply offerings.
