Using this ability, John and the villain could create any existing species of living animal. However, they couldn't create any fictional or extinct ones, and they also couldn't create any other form of life such as humans, plants or bacteria. The animals couldn't be controlled once they had been created, and they would just act normally. The characters couldn't delete them or undo their creation.
