Mercado Comun del Sur (Mercosur) (the "Common Market of the South") is a commercial agreement of the countries of southern South America. The basic idea is to develop an economic integration, a single market. Full members of Mercosur are Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, and Uruguay. Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru have associate member status.
