Bryant Holloway was a lieutentant in the Grantville fire department. After the Ring of Fire, Holloway didn't take his situation very well and became cast as one of Grantville's bigoted crowd. He was also a misogynist, which insured a miserable home-life. Holloway's bigotry blinded him to the manipulations of Jacques-Pierre Dumais. Following the assassinations of Henry Dreeson and Enoch Wiley, Holloway returned to Grantville and confronted Dumais at the Willard Hotel and learned the truth of his indirect manipulation of the assassinations.
