NGC-8149 was a red dwarf star located relatively close to Babel. It was orbited by one class M planet and three gas giants. In an alternate timeline, the UESS Enterprise pursued a Romulan starship to the NGC-8149 system following its attack on an Interstellar Coalition vessel.
