The Gates of Orgrimmar is a massive gate structure that serves as the main entrance and an unofficial subzone to the stone valley city of Orgrimmar. It is located at the north end of Durotar and leads to the Valley of Strength. The gates are of course always open to allow players to travel in and out of the city. The gates on the outside and inside are separated by a crooked tunnel patrolled by grunt guards. During the Cataclysm, Deathwing caused much damage in Orgrimmar as well as the gates, but it was eventually repaired in Patch 5.2.0d.[citation needed]
