The Amaya Family is a resident clan of Amegakure, and the propagators of the Tsurugi technique. They are known within the village for their ruthless attitude towards assassination missions, and their almost draconic desire for wealth, willing to do almost anything for money. This undying will to wealth allowed them to purchase various properties in the town, as well as support the various industries to a certain extent. This led to them becoming a very affluent and prestigious family in the village.
