The Pittsford Fire Department is a volunteer fire department in Monroe County, New York. The department responds to roughly 1,000 calls for service per year and protects ~30,000 residents in a 30 square mile area. The department was organized January 25, 1901 following the merger of two independent hose companies. Two additional companies were amalgamated into the department during the 1920s.
