DG-class command droids, or Demigod Droids were one form of the Droid Confederacy's commanders. They carried flamethrowers and blaster pistols as well as miniature repair kits to repair droids during battle. In a battle, small fortifications would be erected for these droids and other commanders to shelter in and survey the battle. Any wounded soldier or broken droid would be returned to these fortifications during the battle for medics, Mansau or Demigod droids to heal or repair them. These posts would also be filled with defenders.
