The Lancer Battle Rifle is a mod on the standard CoG Lancer Assault Rifle. Tom disliked the automatic fire of the standard Lancer, preferring the burst shot of the Locust Hammerburst Rifle. This led him to take his own Lancer, a stolen Hammerburst, and a 24 hour "Sick Day" while in the CoG to rework the Lancer into the burst shot model he currently uses.
