In Bombay, Indy stays with Rabindranath Tagore, a family friend, while Remy Baudouin continues his search for the Monk Diamond. Tagore has Indy to translate one of Ghandi's books. Indy hears him speak, and meets him somewhere close to Bombay. Indy sees several riots from the country's repression, and finds out about the British massacre at Amritsar. Indy decides he wants to return to the US and attend college, while Remy decides to keep looking for the treasure.
