Akero was a Mandalorian, and the second-in-command of Mandalorian group leader Vipsanis. He was a young, capable fighter who was in search of fame. As the planet Endelaan was attacked, Akero got his commander in command of the troops transferred that should occupy the planet. While he did fulfilled the task, he respected the defenders of the planet unlike Vipsanis.
