The 233rd Imperial Fighter Wing was a starfighter wing serving the Galactic Empire in the Imperial Navy. It was made up of six squadrons of TIE pilots, flying mainly TIE/ln starfighters and TIE/rc Vanguards. As a lieutenant, ace pilot Marek Vaiken Stele served in 233rd before transferring to the Black Eight Squadron, Vader's elite unit, and later Emperor's Sword squadron of the Imperial Palace Guard.
