Ahjess was a Trill and the son of Lela Dax, the first host of the Dax symbiont. He would frequently climb into his mother's bed after being tucked in for the night to get attention. (DS9: "To the Death") This character was only mentioned in dialogue. According to the script, Ahjess' name was pronounced as "AH-juss" [1]
