If we were to have human life on Jupiter we would need to be airborne, since there is no solid surface on Jupiter. Also there is alot of hydrogen in Jupiter's atmosphere so you couldn't breathe on Jupiter unless you had a special gas helmet. An average day on Jupiter would be about 9 hours and 56 minutes, which would be hard for the average human to adjust to. Since humans need to sleep about 8 hours we would only have an hour of consciousness before the day is over. That is not true. Humans have to sleep about one third of the time. The 8 hours thing is just because 8 is one third of 24. Barely 10 hours may be a bit short cycle, but the fact that Humans live north of the Arctic circle proves that Humans can adjust to non-light triggered sleep cycles.
