Vodka martini was an alcoholic Earth beverage prepared by substituting vodka for gin in a martini. While at Vic's lounge in the holosuite in 2375, Julian Bashir ordered a vodka martini "stirred, not shaken". (DS9: "Badda-Bing, Badda-Bang") This was an homage to James Bond, who often says "shaken, not stirred".
