Gillnets is a technology in Age of Empires II: The Forgotten that can be researched at the Dock once the Castle Age is reached. Once researched, it increases the work rate of Fishing Ships by 25%. This work rate bonus applies to both collecting food from fish and Fish Traps, it also makes Fishing Ships build Fish Traps faster. This technology makes the Fishing Ship more efficient in mid and late game.
