David Villa is a Spanish footballer, and the current captain of the New York City Football Club. He's participated in several major tournaments, including the 2006 World Cup, UEFA Euro 2008, the 2010 FIFA World Cup and the 2010 World Cup. He's Spain's all-time top goalscorer, as well as the country's top scorer in the World Cup. In August 2016, to tie in with the summer Olympics, Villa appeared in Sesame Workshop's webseries Love to Learn, teaching Elmo, Rosita and Cookie Monster about teamwork and sportsmanship.
