Rodia Gardens is "a huge public housing complex" in Watts, Los Angeles that was named after sculptor Sabato Rodia. The Gardens are strictly Crips territory. Wanda Sessums lives in the Gardens with her grandson, Alonzo Winslow. Darnell Hicks dealt drugs in the complex until he was shot there during a deal by Cassius Montgomery.
