Jessica was born from unnamed mother on Vegas 7 to Allan Semun. From her early child hood she was friends with John Iceheart. They both joined military at the age of 17 and became N7 commandos. They both worked in the same squad till James disappeared. After it she became involved with the Oculus when her father began sending her on task missions to help the secret organization.
