Polo Hudorra was a Bothan Jedi Master and Grand Master of the Jedi Order. Polo was one of the few Jedi who had the privilige to know and learn under Luke Skywalker and also fought in the Yuuzhan Vong War and the Second Corellian Insurrection. One of Hudorra's mentors was Jacen Solo before he turned to the Dark Side and became a Sith Lord within the Sith Order. As the years went by Polo would gain more and more skill and would soon reach the rank of Jedi Master. After the death of a Jedi Council member, he rose to the position and after the death of the loved Luke Skywalker, Polo was chosen to succeed him.
