Captain Mohammed Tafari was a male Human Starfleet officer who commanded the USS Lysander in the 2260s. In 2269, Tafari was ordered to escort the USS Enterprise to the planet Academy following her failure to arrive from the planet Anomaly. He was also instructed to tow the Enterprise by force should he meet any resistance. These orders proved to be false, having come from the Arivne. (TOS novel: Planet of Judgment)
