The primary attack of a unit is the main weapon it uses. For regular infantry, this is usually the gun by which it is identified. For a hero, it is usually a lightsaber or powerful blaster. The primary attack is used by left-clicking the mouse for the PC and hitting the right trigger on the controller for the console games. It is switched to the alternate primary attack by scrolling the mouse wheel down on the PC, or the black button (Xbox) or R1 (PS2) for the console version. The current primary attack being used is displayed directly above the player's health bar.
