The Monkey Dragon (Draco simius ovilator) lived in forests and ate jungle birds. The females defended themselves by throwing their hard eggs at enemies. When the enemy departed, they could collect the eggs. However, humans collected them for fishing floats and ornaments. As the eggs never hatched, the species became extinct around 1830.
