Shanghai Danger! is an anime that was written, directed, and created by Akira Jotaro who also created the anime XenoΣ, Yakuza Princess, and Odd Jobs. The setting takes place in 1950s Shanghai, China, where many gangs and mobsters run the entire city behind the scenes. The story is about a young man of leisure who is set on one thing in his life and is willing to risk his own life for it, and that one thing is leisure.
