A nanohole (or "micro black hole") is a type of ordnance that may be deployed from spacecraft. A Culture anti-spacecraft nanohole in the c. 19th century CE could be deployed within 11 microseconds and destroy a Rapid Offensive Unit. A nanohole deployed into a planetoid would collapse the planetoid into the nanohole leaving minimal debris; satellites at a distance would remain unaffected, including their orbits.
