Sergei Luchenko was a Third Echelon Field Runner. He was killed in Endgame by an unseen shooter as he was about to execute Ben Hansen. Sergei had been in the CIA with Ben Hansen. They were both recruited into the Third Echelon Splinter Cell progam. However Luchenko had, for all intents and purposes, flunked the program and had been forced to either become a field runner or wind up behind a desk. Luchenko was Hansen's field runner for his first mission in Russia, but was forced to betray Hansen due to a threat to his love Victoria. Luchenko was killed by an unknown sniper just as he was about to kill Hansen.
