The Steinbach Huskies are a Junior C hockey based in Steinbach, Manitoba. The Junior C team plays up to and including age 21. The Huskies biggest rival are the neighbouring Mitchell Mohawks located in Mitchell, Manitoba. They are founding members of the Hanover Tache Junior Hockey League (HTJHL), the franchise was founded in the late 80's. As of 2009 the team has won 4 of the last 5 league championships and a total of 6 championships overall.
