The Sydney Telephones were a senior team that played in the Cape Breton Senior Hockey League. In the 1934-35 season the Telephone finished in firat place and lost the league final. They won the league in 1935-36 and then lost the Nova Scotia semi final in the 1935-36 Maritimes Senior Playoffs. In the 1936-37 season the Telephones finished in first place, won the league final, and then lost the Nova Scotia semi final in the 1936-37 Maritimes Senior Playoffs.
