The 1st Assault Fleet was the Shadow Imperium's lower-grade attack force. While its mission profile is similar to the 1st Battle Fleet, the 1st Assault Fleet's profile is specified toward quick strikes and space support for landing operations. Following the conclusion of the Sith-Cylon War, the 1st Assault Fleet was incorporated as-is into the Crimson Empire.
