Drearian Defense Conglomerate, sometime shortened to DDC, was a weapons manufacturing company. One of their products was the Satine's Lament model of Defender sporting blaster pistol, which was named for Satine Kryze, the Duchess of the planet Mandalore during the Clone Wars. The model was popular with nobility and aristocrats, and Princess Leia Organa used one during the Galactic Civil War.
