A Meeting in the Hyades is a short story by Marion Zimmer Bradley which involves "Regis Hastur (or a character that later developed into Regis) meets a character from LOTR somewhere in the Darkovan mountains.". "Meeting in the Hyades" was originally published as selfpublished chapbook in 1961 and then in a LOTR fanzine Andúril in Summer 1962." It was also published in Starstone #1 (January 1978).
