At WisCon in 2008, a woman named Rachel Moss attended the convention and took photographs of other con attendees. During the convention, she posted the photos on an online humor forum, with a mocking and extremely offensive narrative of the people and conference panels. People at the con noticed, and spoke out about it immediately in protest online. They were harassed further as more internet forums such as Reddit, Slashdot, and others took note.
